* Adware and spyware are removed as much as possible, some applications are non-removable without destructive measures. The term "common virus infector scan" is the current list of commonly infected viruses recognized by the AVERT Stinger software tool released by Security Associates. Older viruses and some new viruses may not be detected until they are recognized by Security Associates in the AVERT removal tool. To obtain a "complete" scan, you must either own a currently active subscription from Symantec Antivirus or obtain a copy from The Computer Place, LLc. to be totally secure from virus threats. The AVERT Stinger software only removes virus infections currently present and recognized at the requested service instance, it does not provide continuing protection.. Price noted above is SERVICE only, no software licenses are included and are additional.

** "Driver disc" is referred to a disk or disc containing the software necessary to load on the PC. This software will enable proper usage of the components installed in the PC, such as video, sound, modem, network adapters, and other system board requirements. Without this essential media, additional time is necessary to locate and download the required software for you, for an additional $5.00 you can receive a "copy" of the software we download for your PC's hardware. We cannot load any OS without a valid "COA" or Certificate of Authenticity affixed to the case or media container. We will NOT accept any hand written COAs as this is in violation of the Microsoft EULA contract. If we have any knowledge of your OS being illegal we reserve the right to refuse service.
